Chevrolet Dealers Honored with Grand Master Award

  • Overall winner for 2013 was Chevrolet Sukhothai, receiving award for the fifth time
  • 11 dealerships received Chevrolet Grand Master Awards
  • 6 Service Related Awards are handed out this year

Bangkok, Thailand: Chevrolet Sales Thailand (Chevrolet) recently honored its dealers at its annual Dealers Recognition Awards, paying tribute to their commitment, dedication and contribution to the automaker’s performance in 2013. In its 11th year, the annual event is also held to support, encourage and enhance the operations of Chevrolet dealers in areas including sales, customer service and technical competence.

Chevrolet’s criteria are based on a stringent set of requirements for dealers. Points and percentages are awarded to those who meet Chevrolet’s standards. Dealerships are judged on sales, franchise standards, customer care and more importantly, customer satisfaction. Judging is done by Chevrolet’s franchise team and results are audited and evaluated every quarter.

Speaking at the ceremony, Gustavo Colossi, Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Aftersales, Chevrolet Sales Thailand and GM Southeast Asia Operations said, “Thank you Chevrolet dealers. You all remained committed to the sales, service and growth of the brand despite a challenging year. Moving forward, we must keep up the momentum and continue to do even better.

“Quality must be the guiding principle in everything we do. We must continue to build customer satisfaction and loyalty while improving product and service quality.

At the event, 11 Chevrolet dealers were the recipients of the ‘Grand Master’ Award, including one ‘Best-of-the-Best’ winner. The Grand Master Award – the most prestigious of the awards, recognizes dealers who excel in retail operations in terms of sales, customer care and franchise standards.

The ‘Best-of-the-Best’ Grand Master recipient for 2013 was Mrs.Patchara Satianvatidkul of Sukhothai P&Y Motors Co.,Ltd., winner of five previous Grand Master Awards.

Satianvatidkul said, “It is our top priority to take care of our customers and provide reliable solutions in order to gain their trust. We won because of the dedication and commitment of all our staffs at Chevrolet Sukhothai to be the best.

“We believe in people management. Employees are what makes the company and contribute to its success. Internally, we must have a strong and committed team, so we can deal successfully with our external stakeholders.”

In addition to the Grand Master Award, Chevrolet dealers were awarded for excellence in other categories including Master Technicians of 2013 and Top Customer Care Award 2013. Recipients of the Customer Care award include Chevrolet Singburi, Sakon Nakhon, Surin, Trang, Ubon Ratchthani and Bangbuathong.

The Dealers Recognition Award has also been the event in which new dealers and new dealerships are welcomed. As of 2013, Chevrolet has 104 dealerships nationwide, 11 of which are new. Plans for 2014 are to further enhance customer service quality and provide customers with positive ownership experience with dedicated campaigns across various communications platforms and customer touch-points.
