What is maintenance?
Mileage-based maintenance is determined by the average life span of each part and fluid to see when replacements are due. To make sure that your Chevrolet is getting regular maintenance, please refer to the warranty book and service schedule.

Mileage-based maintenance
There are 2 kinds of mileage-based maintenance: 1) the seller or Chevrolet distributor will evaluate which parts should be maintained at certain mileage based on driving behavior, weather conditions and etc.

Maintenance not based on mileage
Aside from maintenance that has to be done at certain mileage, other parts also require constant attention to keep the car in good condition since damage to these parts might severely affect the overall performance of the car or engine. If a car exhibits any abnormal symptoms related to these parts, they should be attended to as soon as possible.

Mileage-based maintenance records
Each customer handbook contains a section for maintenance records at different mileage which can be used to remind you when each part is due for maintenance or replacement and keep records of any repairs. This is helpful for distributors and service centers because they can use these records to track items that have previously been repaired or replaced. These records also help resellers and buyers know what parts need to be changed and at what intervals of additional use.
