Chevrolet Reveals ‘Dark Shadow Metallic’ for Colorado High Country, New ‘Phoenix Edition’ Accessory Packs for Trailblazer at 39th Bangkok International Motor Show

BANGKOK, THAILAND – Today at the 39th Bangkok International Motor Show 2018, Chevrolet Thailand unveiled the other half of its dynamic duo, the 2019 Colorado High Country in a new hero color “Dark Shadow Metallic”, joining the 2019 Colorado High Country STORM “Orange Crush” that was revealed last week.

Chevrolet’s customization options also took another leap forward with the unveiling of new “Phoenix Edition” accessory packs for its Trailblazer premium SUV, as part of a brand-wide expansion of accessory options that includes a new “Thunder” line of accessories for the Colorado pickup truck range.

“With more color and accessory choices, our customers can personalize and customize their vehicles more than ever,” said Piyanuch Chaturaphat, General Director of Sales and Marketing, Chevrolet Thailand. “While every Colorado is designed to ‘Challenge Your Power’, a new fully accessorized Colorado is sure to ‘Challenge Your Superpower’. Vehicle personalization is one of the strongest trends in the industry. More than 50 percent of Colorado customers in Thailand choose to accessorize their vehicles. So, Chevrolet Thailand is giving its customers more options than ever before.

The 2019 Colorados on display at the motor show will arrive at dealerships starting from May 1. The entire range offers the same world-class level of quality engineering, powerful engine and segment-leading technology for which the Chevrolet Colorado is famous.

The iconic American pickup truck brand is building on momentum from a strong sales year in 2017 when it celebrated its 100th anniversary in the segment. As a result of its strong focus on trucks, Chevrolet’s annual sales grew by nearly 26 percent last year in Thailand, driven by a 32-percent increase in Colorado sales. In 2018, Colorado continues to outpace the pickup truck segment, with sales up nearly 22 percent across January and February, compared to same period last year. This result has helped drive an overall 18-percent sales increase for Chevrolet during the first two months of 2018.

Chevrolet invites customers to visit its motor show stand to experience the advanced Chevrolet Connection Center where product experts are ready to provide information and recommendations about Chevrolet vehicles. Visitors can experience the latest version of Chevrolet MyLink by connecting with Apple CarPlay, and see the Duramax engine display.

At the stand, Chevy Plus and Chevy Plus VIP members can enjoy beverages and relax in the Chevy Plus Lounge designed to celebrate Chevrolet’s heritage. Visitors also can request a test drive and receive a Chevrolet souvenir.

Chevrolet is also offering a fantastic “Hot Deal” retail campaign to customers at the motor show and at Chevrolet dealerships nationwide from March 28 to April 8, 2018. Customer can choose either 0-percent interest or low down payment across the Colorado and Trailblazer lineups.
