CHEVROLET MOTOR SHOW BOOTH WINS BEST DESIGN AWARD

BANGKOK, THAILAND – The Chevrolet booth at the 37th Bangkok International Motor Show has won the Best Design Award 2016. Dr. Prachin Eamlumnow, President of the show’s organizing committee presented the award to Mr. Pipat Lorkrailert, Senior Marketing Manager, Chevrolet Sales Thailand, at brand’s booth on March 31.

“We are honoured to win this award again,” Piphat said. “We always take pride in how we present the Chevrolet brand and products at the Motor Show, and this year is no exception. Motor show booth design, like the automotive industry itself, is highly competitive. So, we raised the bar even higher this year. We very much appreciate the recognition for it.”

Chevrolet’s booth theme, “Era of the New Evolution,” provided the perfect stage for the unveiling two exciting show vehicles, Colorado Xtreme and Trailblazer Premier, which explore two very different directions for the popular pickup truck and SUV segments. These vehicles give customers a hint at the brand’s design direction that takes inspiration from its world renowned truck heritage.

During public days at the Motor Show, the Chevrolet booth features a thrilling performance under the concept "Iron & Fire" that combines the art of synchronized street tap dance, creating sound and rhythm that was inspired in part by automotive manufacturing.

Also at the booth, there is a Smartphone Integration Kiosk Demonstration that showcases Chevrolet’s New MyLink technology, which 30% faster than the previous system and enables a more convenient, more connected customer experience through the use of Apple Car Play and Android Auto applications, available on the new 2016 Chevrolet Captiva.

The booth also features the exclusive Chevy Plus Lounge, offering Chevrolet key holders a sample of the VIP treatment offered at the Chevrolet Centennial Suite located in Manchester United Football Club's legendary Old Trafford Stadium. Customers who make a booking with Chevrolet during the 2016 motor show also get a chance to win an exclusive trip to England to experience the Chevrolet Centennial Suite and watch a Manchester United Football Club game in person.

Chevrolet’s Accessorized Car Zone, which is the new highlight of the booth, offers customers inspiration on how to customize and accessorize their vehicle to reflect their personal style and identity. The booth also features the Chevy Collection, offering a variety of Chevrolets products, souvenirs and car accessories.
