Chevrolet Opens Its Biggest Dealership in Thailand


  • Bring Chevrolet’s range of products and services to more customers in Ubon Ratchathani and surrounding areas
  • The new dealership opened on March 21, 2015 

BANGKOK, THAILAND – Chevrolet’s biggest dealership in Thailand celebrated its grand opening in Ubon Ratchathani on March 21, 2015. In addition to new vehicles, Chevrolet Charoen Chai or CCC Auto Co., Ltd. will offer a service center, spare parts and a Chevrolet Certified Used Car division.

“On behalf of GM and Chevrolet, I am pleased to welcome Chevrolet Charoen Chai to the family. The opening of our largest dealership in Thailand to date clearly demonstrates our commitment to growing the Chevrolet brand in this great country,” said Marcos A. Purty, Managing Director of GM Thailand and Chevrolet Sales Thailand.

“It is also a timely addition to the Chevrolet family as we work to strengthen our dealer network in Thailand in the face of challenging market conditions. Having a strong dealer network offering our best products and committed to delivering an excellent customer service will help us build more long-term and sustainable relationships with customers,” Purty added.

The new dealership is situated on a 67-rai piece of land and boasts a 80-meter frontage designed to enhance the visibility of the dealership and is in accordance with Chevrolet’s modern corporate and brand identity.

Inside the large facility, and in addition to a spacious showroom, there are luxurious client servicing areas, state of the art design elements and other innovative features including an equally large and fully-equipped service site with 30 bays and 12 hoists.

“We are excited to become part of the Chevrolet family and look forward to helping this brand grow by making its excellent products and services more accessible to customers in Ubon Ratchathani and the surrounding area,” said Somchart Pongpanakrai, who has 25 years of experience in the automotive and auto sales industry.

CCC Auto currently employs 60 personnel and was officially opened on March 21, 2015.
