Chevrolet Recognizes Dealers’ Achievements

BANGKOK, THAILAND – Chevrolet Sales Thailand recently recognized dealers for their commitment, dedication and contribution to the automaker’s performance in 2014 at the 12th Dealers Recognition Awards, held at the Greenery Resort Khao Yai. The annual event was also held to support, encourage and enhance the operations of Chevrolet dealers in areas including sales, customer services and technical expertise.

Nominations were based on stringent requirements, and points and percentages awarded to those who meet Chevrolet’s exacting standards. Dealers and dealerships are judged on areas including sales, franchise standard, customer care and more importantly, customer satisfaction. Chevrolet’s franchise team formed the judges’ panel and results were audited and evaluated every quarter.

Speaking at the ceremony, Marcos A. Purty, Managing Director of GM Thailand and Chevrolet Sales Thailand said, “We’re here to celebrate Chevrolet dealers who have all remained committed to increasing our sales, improving our level of services and growing the brand. We must gain momentum and do even better in 2015. The customer will remain the center of everything we do. This means providing great quality products and a great customer experience with Chevrolet.”

“The opening of Benjapol Auto Seeda and Phra Nakorn Automobile Rangsit is a sign of the strengthening of our dealership network in a challenging market so that we are in a better position to serve our customers throughout Thailand.” Purty added.

At the event, eight Chevrolet dealers received the ‘Grand Master’ Award – the most prestigious of all. It recognizes dealers who excelled in retail operations in sales, customer care and franchise standard. Grand Master winners include Khonkaen Pijitphet Motorcar Co., Ltd. (Mr. Somchai Srangtavorn), Pijitphet Motor Car Co., Ltd., Sakonnakorn (Mrs. Paiwan Srangtavorn) both of which fall under the Large Dealer category.

Medium Dealer category winners include Chaichana Motor (Chiangrai) Co., Ltd.,

Chiangrai (Mr. Pracha Rungphetvipavadee), V.S.R. Autosales Co., Ltd., Koh Samui
(Ms. Dasporn Wunsri) and A.S. Auto Place Co., Ltd., Surin (Mr. Theerayoot Rungkhakulnuwat).

Winners under the Small Dealer category include Charoenmotor Chiangmai Co., Ltd., Lamphun (Mrs. Morakot Kongprasert), Nakhon Phanom Pijitphet Motorcar Co., Ltd.
(Mr. Krerk Tungsakool) and Pijitphet Motor Car Co., Ltd., Mukdahan (Mr. Krich Tangsakul).

Mr. Somchai Srangtavorn from Khonkaen Pijitphet Motorcar, a Grand Master dealer, said “We are proud to have won the award for 2014. This is the result of teamwork by everyone at Khonkaen Pijitphet Motorcar. This will make us aim even higher in 2015. Our top priority remains recognizing customers as the most important part of our business and we will continue to place them at the center of everything we do.”

Mrs. Paiwan Srangtavorn from Pijitphet Motor Car, Sakonnakorn, another Grand Master dealer, said “As the leaders at Chevrolet have said – quality must be the guiding principle and the customer must be at the center of everything we do. Our team at Pijitphet Motor Car has worked hard to meet that guiding principle and this award recognizes their efforts and results. We will continue to build customer satisfaction and loyalty.”

In addition to the Grand Master Award, 11 Chevrolet dealers were also recognized for 15 years of service while 27 were recognized for 10 years of service.

The Dealers Recognition Award has also been an event in which new dealers and new dealerships are welcomed. This year, Chevrolet welcomed BenjapolAuto Seeda, Nakornratchasrima and Phra Nakorn Automobile Rangsit to the Chevrolet family.

Benjapol Auto Seeda is located in Nakornratchasrima. It is owned by Mr. Phichai Benjaphonkun and Mr. Chairat Lertangkool, who are the founders of Benjapol Spare-Parts, a dealer of Siam Kubota Industry and Kubota Benjapol Nakornratchasrima, an authorized dealer of Siam Kobuta Corporation. They have more than 5 years of experience in auto sales and services. The new dealership will be situated on a spacious 4-rai piece of land with a 1,000 square-meter showroom, 14 service bays and 7 hoists.

Phra Nakorn Automobile Rangsit is located at Rangsit, Pathumtani. Owned by Mr. Thawatchai Jungsanguanpornsuk and Ms. Natthaya Lertpatanakul, Phra Nakorn Automobile has been Chevrolet’s dealer since 1997 comprising of 7 outlets: Vibpawadee, Bangjak, Bangkae, Nonthaburi, Saraburi, Saimai and Rangsit). They have more than 15 years of experience in auto sales and services. The new dealership will be situated on a spacious 9-rai piece of land with a 2,781 square-meter showroom, 24 service bays and 13 hoists.
