Car Shoppers Win Gold at “Chevrolet Fun Drive”

Chevrolet Thailand recently organized the Chevrolet Fun Drive, a first-of-its-kind day-plus-night test drive event with a football theme. Visitors were also offered a chance to shoot a goal with a Chevrolet Sonic, and win gold. The main prize of 10-Baht gold went to Yosspat Buppha. 10 runners-up prizes of 1-Baht gold each went to Mongkolsal Kongsao, Yuttana Wangwittayakul, Thitiporn Srithipprasert, Wicharn Karnjanarung, Interd Taisup, Sirinapa Laowisettanakarn, Jirawat Wongintathada, Akekapong Sirirattanasuwan, Sittichai Trising and Sapanida Bookdasin.


BANGKOK, THAILAND - Chevrolet Thailand recently organized the Chevrolet Fun Drive, a first-of-its-kind day-plus-night test drive event with a football theme. Visitors to the two-day event test-drive the most up-to-date vehicles in the market including the Captiva and Trailblazer SUVs, the Colorado pickup, the Spin MPV, and the Sonic and Cruze passenger cars.

Tests were conducted at different stations including Braking, Suspension, Handling, and Ramp and Slope for 4WD vehicles. Just for fun, a special Chevrolet Sonic Manchester edition was also on display. Visitors were offered a chance to shoot a goal, and win gold. The challenge entailed using the Chevrolet Sonic to shoot a 1.5 metre ball into a goal.

The main prize of 10-Baht gold went to Yosspat Buppha. 10 runners-up prizes of 1-Baht gold each went to Mongkolsal Kongsao, Yuttana Wangwittayakul, Thitiporn Srithipprasert, Wicharn Karnjanarung, Interd Taisup, Sirinapa Laowisettanakarn, Jirawat Wongintathada, Akekapong Sirirattanasuwan, Sittichai Trising and Sapanida Bookdasin.

Customers also got the opportunity to choose Chevrolet’s “6+6” 6-year warranty protection and roadside assistance plan, available with new purchases. Owners will also receive 6 years of free labor costs for maintenance.

Football embodies the spirit of the “Power of Play,” and Chevrolet supports the game in several ways, from its CSR activities to its shirt sponsorship of the Manchester United football team and football-themed on-ground consumer events like the Chevrolet Fun Drive. Chevrolet recently launched its “Play for Dreams” nationwide youth football talent search and dealership promotions.
