Chevrolet to display concept cars at the USA Fair 2013
- Chevrolet's Code 130R and Tru 140s concept cars will be on display at the USA Fair 2013
- This year, the USA Fair highlights 180 Years of Friendship between Thailand and USA.
- Apart from its displays, Chevrolet's booth will also feature a giant LED puzzle game for visitors to win prizes
BANGKOK, 27 MAY 2013 - Chevrolet Thailand will be participating in this year's USA Fair 2013, themed 'Two Nations. One Friendship: 180 years of U.S.-Thai Relations', as one of the American companies that have successfully grown in Thailand, and as a part of its celebration to mark its 20th year in the Kingdom.
On display at Chevrolet's booths will be the Code 130R and Tru 140s concept cars, in addition to its latest models including the new Spin compact multipurpose vehicle, new Cruze sedan and Captiva sports utility vehicle. Chevrolet's display will cover an area of 185 square-meters, spread over two sites within the Eden exhibit zone at CentralWorld shopping center.
Apart from its displays, Chevrolet's booth will also feature a giant LED puzzle game that will give visitors an opportunity to walk away with interesting prizes. A special pin-maker will also allow visitors to get a special button-badge with their images embossed on it.
Visitors to the Fair on the evenings of Friday (May 31) and Saturday (June 1) will also be treated to performances by U.S. hip-hop artist 'Epiphany ', and a performance from the Thai dance group ‘Ok Ok Good Good’, on the CentralCourt stage. Other highlights include contests and 'street' performances. Visitors will also have several chances to win iPad Minis and two tickets to the USA, in addition to other exciting prizes.
Completing 20 years of presence in Thailand, GM currently employs 5,700 staffs, at its manufacturing, assembly and powertrain facilities in the Rayong province. The automaker has invested a total of USD 1.4 billion in Thailand and currently buys a total of USD 2 billion worth of parts equipment and services from suppliers in the Southeast Asia, of which more than 50% are sourced in Thailand.

The USA Fair is an annual commercial fair organized by AMCHAM (American Chamber of Commerce) Thailand and the U.S. Embassy that promotes American products and services, as well as travel to the U.S. It will be held at CentralWorld from May 31 to June 2, 2013.
